How to Burn a 7-Day Candle
Set Your Intention
Before lighting the candle, take a quiet moment to focus on your intention. Speak it aloud, write it on a piece of paper, or meditate on it. This energizes the candle with your purpose.
Prepare the Candle (Optional but powerful)
You may choose to dress the candle with oils, herbs, or spiritual powders that match your goal (e.g., Road Opener, Love Drawing, Money, etc.). You can also carve names, symbols, or petitions into the wax or write a prayer to place beneath the candle.
Create a Safe Burning Space
Place the candle on a fire-safe surface in a draft-free area. Never leave it unattended, especially in the first few hours of burning.
Light the Candle
Light the wick with focus and intention. As the flame rises, visualize your request or prayer being carried into the universe. Speak affirmations or prayers if desired.
Let it Burn
Allow the candle to burn continuously if safe to do so. If you must extinguish it, snuff it (do not blow it out), and relight when you can give it your attention again. Burning all the way down typically takes 5–7 days.
